RapidStart Templates

RMC has made significant investments in the definition of RapidStart implementation templates for Oracle Cloud Applications. The goal of these templates is to shorten the implementation time and to follow a best practice approach. We have implementation templates for the implementation of several ERP processes (Journal-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay,…).

RMC project methodology

The RapidStart templates are using our own RMC project methodology which is a combination of Prince2 and the OUM Cloud Methodology. PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments) is a process-based method for effective project management. PRINCE2 is a de facto standard and extensively used. The OUM Cloud Methodology is specifically designed for implementing Oracle Cloud Applications, according to well defined and tested activities and deliverables; it is based on the same principles as Oracle’s Unified Method (OUM) to allow a consistent approach across all Oracle products.

  • Use of RapidStart Templates, a set of standard templates that RMC has designed and that are used during the preparation of the different workshops to guide the customer through the configuration of Financials, Procurement, Projects, Planning and Budgeting,…
  • For implementation of ERP applications in general and cloud applications specifically the communication between the implementation consultants and the internal customer’s key-users is of utmost importance. That’s why RMC foresees on-site presence at the customer site during the implementation and post go-live support.
  • Involvement of key-users during the entire project cycle.
  • Training of the key-users at the beginning of the project for faster adoption.
